Event Description:
Santa Claus is coming to town! You have to check out this Mountain Brook tradition and then get a picture made afterwards with Santa at the Mountain Brook Magazine photo opp and with the vintage fire trucks! Also, this year, Mr. Ivey Jackson will be taking complimentary professional photos of kids on the ladder fire truck which can be picked up later from the Chamber. PLUS this year Emmet O'Neal Library is hosting a pop up storytime right after the parade by the Bromberg's Christmas tree. The parade will start at Office Park and go through Mountain Brook Village on Cahaba Road. The parade will turn right on Culver Road and continue on Culver and Petticoat Lane back to Cahaba and then back to Office Park. Roads along the parade route will close down about 2:30 and will open as is safe after the parade. All roads should be open by around 4:30.
The Spartan Shuttle will be running this Sunday 2:00-5:00 so parade goers can hop on the bus route or park and ride from Mountain Brook Baptist into Lane Parke and avoid parking congestion in Mountain Brook Village. This is a free Village-to-Village shuttle!
