Beyond Blue: A Benefit to end Prostate Cancer

The Mike Slive Foundation for Prostate Cancer Research cordially invites you to join us for our third annual Beyond Blue Benefit (formerly called I'm With Mike). Hosted by Clete Walker and Tommy Brigham, this event promises to be unlike anything else in Birmingham. Silent auction items include behind the scenes SEC Championship experiences as well as many other sports and entertainment packages. This year, we are honoring Hatton Smith, a prostate cancer survivor and tireless promotor of Birmingham. As CEO emeritus of Royal Cup Coffee, Smith’s professional and personal philanthropy is enriching the social fabric of our community. He was instrumental in the fundraising efforts that built the Rotary Trail, revived UAB’s football program, and materialized plans for BJCC’s Protective Stadium. By bringing more people downtown, he believes the area will benefit socially, culturally, and economically. Smith is an executive committee member of the Birmingham Business Alliance. Additionally, he sits on the Birmingham-Southern College board and advises many local nonprofits.
